Rossmoyne
Homes For Sale, Open Houses, Sales Comps & Market Report
Located just northeast of downtown Glendale, the Rossmoyne neighborhood is one of Glendale’s finest. Approximately seventy-five percent of the homes were constructed prior to the 1950’s. The neighborhood is charming and dotted with many Spanish revival and Tudor character homes. It boasts mature tree-lined streets with nice walkable sidewalks and vintage City of Glendale lampposts.
The Rossmoyne neighborhood is proud of its character homes and the resident homeowners obtained the coveted Rossmoyne Historic District designation to maintain the original character of the neighborhood. Located within the Historic District is one of the City of Glendale’s nicest parks, Nibley Park.
The geography of the neighborhood is mixed, with East Mountain Street running mostly east and west and serving as an artery through the neighborhood, forming a natural dividing line between the more winding and mountainous northern streets (north of East Mountain Street) and the more level-sloped, tree-lined streets south of East Mountain Street.
